Hampton, NH February 12th 2018 – MSI Global Talent Solutions, a professional services organization dedicated to helping companies create human capital strategies that drive global growth, has partnered with Move for Hunger to help fight hunger and provide much-needed assistance to food banks across the United States and Canada. MSI will support Move for Hunger’s efforts to reduce food waste by working with its clients and their transferring employees to collect the many non-perishable food items that are often discarded when moving.

To date, Move for Hunger’s network of relocation professionals has collected and delivered more than 10 million pounds of food — which has provided more than 8 million meals — to food banks and pantries across the United States and Canada.

“One in eight Americans faces hunger every day, and yet, 40 percent of the food produced in our country each year is wasted,” said Adam Lowy, Executive Director and Founder of Move for Hunger. “MSI Global Talent Solutions recognizes the scope of the problem and understands the urgent need to take action. We’re proud to call them our partners.”

“With so much food insecurity in North America (let alone globally), Move for Hunger plays a crucial role in helping to alleviate hunger for some of the 42 million Americans who suffer from hunger on a daily basis,” noted MSI CEO Timm Runnion. “MSI is pleased to do its small part to help in the communities we serve.”

Through the support of partners like MSI, Move for Hunger can continue to help those who are struggling to find their next meal. For more information about Move for Hunger and how you can make a difference, please visit www.MoveForHunger.org.
